Slow Cookin’ Pepper Steak

This is an awesome summer meal, not just because it’s super quick to make, but because it goes in your slow cooker, which avoids using the stove/oven for cooking, keeping your house much cooler later in the day and into the evening

Serves: 4

• 1 lb. beef chuck, cut into strips.
• ¼ cup Braggs Amino Acids (you can use low sodium soy sauce as a substitute).
• 3 clove garlic, minced.
• 1 cup green peppers, chopped.
• 1 cup red peppers, chopped.
• 1 cup yellow peppers, chopped.
• 1 cup white onion, chopped.
• 2 large celery stalks, thinly sliced.
• 1 Tbsp. cornstarch.
• ½ cup beef broth.
• 1 tsp. Celtic sea salt.
• 1 tsp. course black pepper.
• 1 tsp. smoked paprika.

1 – Slice the beef chuck and veggies and place in crockpot.

2 – Add Braggs Amino Acids, garlic, salt, pepper, and paprika.

3 – Cook on high for 4 hours or low for 6 depending on your slow cooker.

4 – Mix cornstarch with beef broth and add to crockpot, cook an additional 30 minutes or until everything is cooked and sauce is thickened.

Notes:This is such a versatile dish that can be served with quinoa, barley, brown rice, cauliflower rice or white rice.
