Behavioral Health

The Integrated Behavioral Health (IBH) program’s mission is to provide accessible, high-quality, effective and efficient behavioral health services in partnership with patients and in collaboration with all members of the healthcare and community team. The program’s overarching goal is the improved health and wellness of our patients, and in turn, our community. This is accomplished by providing integrated, seamless and comprehensive behavioral healthcare in the context of the daily provision of primary healthcare. Medical and behavioral health services are part of one treatment plan that includes elements of behavioral and medical issues and interventions. All behavioral interventions are in service of the patient’s medical care and health and wellness. These services are proven to be effective and beneficial. Forty to 70 percent of people who receive these services show substantial benefits, including improved accessibility to services, better chronic disease management, improved patient and provider satisfaction and better health outcomes.
