Alicia Ottmann, PA-C

Why did you choose your profession?
As a child I always knew I wanted to work in healthcare. While navigating the medical system as a teen I became motivated to improve the patient experience, particularly at the bedside. I strive to partner with my patients to improve their health and well-being.

Why do you work at NOAH?
By definition NOAH is a network of community health clinics and it exemplifies COMMUNITY in every sense of the word. The relationships I’ve built with patients and colleagues makes me feel like I’m coming home every time I come to work. The ability to serve all members of the community, house essential resources under roof, collaborate with subject-matter experts and educate future healthcare workers -and do it all as a team- is invaluable.

Swimming, playing sports, traveling, spending time with my dog Lexi, teaching for PA schools and doing home renovations. I have a passion for medical mission work which has taken me to Guatemala annually.

If you won the lottery tomorrow, what would you do?
Travel and learn new languages, continue medical mission work, assist family and donate to causes close to my heart.
