Julie LaJoe, LPC

Why did you choose your profession?
I love the empowerment aspect of being able to work with different people and seeing change and growth in their lives. I also had the opportunity to work with youth and families in many capacities before becoming a counselor and that encouraged me to pursue this profession.

Why do you work at NOAH?
It feels like everyone is working for a common mission and that caring for patients is really important here. I like being able to work together in one place with doctors, dentists, dieticians, all toward common goals.

What are your passions outside of your profession?
Writing, my faith, nature/hiking, improv comedy.

What would you do if you won the lottery?
Travel more.
