Have you taken your child to the dentist yet? Maybe it’s been a few years – time flies right? In any case, your NOAH Care Team offers a few steps to you can take to make sure your child’s next visit is a good one!
Be prepared by following these 4 tips:
Start Early – Pediatric dentists are ready to see children as soon as the 1st tooth erupts and no later than their 1st birthday. Similar to a well child visit with your pediatrician, infants need to see a dentist. Don’t worry, the visit will be quick and painless. We will answer all your questions and provide you with helpful tips to practice that will prevent cavities.
Make it Fun – Leave your anxiety and fears at the door. We love our job and we are here to have fun. Children will perceive your anxiety and apprehension. Don’t worry, we’ve got this! It’s our number one priority to create and fun and supportive environment for your child.
Say it – It’s okay to tell your child what to expect, but if you’re not sure, that’s okay too! We will explain each step of your child’s appointment using terms that are kid-friendly. No surprises here, we know that children are at their best when they understand what is going on.
