Our Story

Neighborhood Outreach Access to Health (NOAH) has provided access to health services for the community since 1997.  The health center has evolved from a single pediatric Nurse Practitioner traveling from school to school through Scottsdale and Paradise Valley school districts, to the 2001 purchase and expansion of services using the Arizona Public Service (APS) sponsored NOAH mobile medical unit.  Created with support from HonorHealth (NOAH’s affiliate), NOAH continues to meet community healthcare needs with permanent health center sites established in low-income areas throughout the valley.  NOAH is a Health Center Program grantee under 42 U.S.C. 254b and operates 11 permanent health centers – Balsz Heath Center, Calavar Health Center, Cholla Health Center, Copperwood Health Center, Desert Mission Community Health Center, Heuser Family Medicine, Heuser Pediatric Dental, Midtown Health Center, Palomino Health Center, Sierra Health Center, and Venado Valley Health Center – and provides primary medical and dental care and behavioral health services to more than 23,000 people in the community.
